We’ve updated our membership levels! Over the next year, we’ll be issuing new membership cards to reflect these changes. 

In the meantime, if you are a member with reciprocal benefits, please present your membership sleeve as proof of active membership.

Friends of African and African-American Art

Friends of Art & Flowers
  • Friends of Art & Flowers (FAF) was formed in 1988 as the result of a highly successful Art & Flowers Spring Festival. The Friends' primary function is the beautification of the DIA.

Friends of Detroit Film Theatre
  • Friends of the Detroit Film Theatre (FDFT) help to support the DFT film series, preserve the DIA's collection of film, video, and related materials, and raise funds toward restoration of the museum's historic auditorium.
Visiting Committee for European Sculpture and Decorative Arts
  • The Visiting Committee (VCESDA) studies European sculpture and decorative arts in all their variety. Members encounter inspiring objects in many media, discover their exciting histories, and connect with fellow enthusiasts through lectures, tours, and exclusive seminars.

The DIA Affinity Partner Program is a way to connect our 22,000 member households to support local businesses. Detroit-area businesses in the Affinity program offer select discounts to DIA members when they present a membership card.
