Please join us for an Early Educator Workshop at the Detroit Institute of Arts! During the workshop, participants will be engaged in play and problem-solving.

DIA educators will introduce teachers to Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS), a technique for using art to develop critical thinking, communication skills, and visual literacy in young learners.

Strategies for introducing books to encourage literacy will also be shared. In conjunction with the Art Studio, participants will create their own journal. This project will be replicable in the classroom.

All educators are welcome. 5 SCECHs are pending approval.
