The Lemon Bucket Orkestra is a large, high-energy folk ensemble from Toronto that describes itself as a "guerrilla-folk-punk" band and Toronto's original "Slavic brass punks." Their music blends Ukrainian, Balkan, Romani, Klezmer, and other Eastern European folk traditions with elements of punk, jazz, and brass-band music. The award-winning ensemble has been described as "frenetic, charismatic, and gloriously anarchic" and has performed around the world, including appearances at WOMAD festivals in England and New Zealand.
