Puppets are used to tell stories and bring our imagination to life. This performing arts tradition is thousands of years old and is found in cultures from all over the world. The Paul McPharlin Puppetry Collection is one of the most significant collections of theatrical puppets in the United States. Because many of the puppets in our collection are made of delicate materials that can be easily damaged, individual puppets cannot be on permanent display and are rotated every six months.
