“Interwoven Blooms is meant to reflect the beauty of Pontiac on an individual level and as a whole. It speaks to how each person in the community can be unique and shine brightly on their own, while also highlighting what emerges when those individuals connect and seamlessly come together. In the mural, the larger flowers standing on their own represent individuality and personal expression. But when you step back and take in the full three walls instead of just one, the flowers blend into one another, showing how much stronger and more beautiful the perspective becomes when everything works together to create something larger than itself.”
