Nonamey (he/him) is a trans, Two-Spirit Indigenous artist and designer from the Anishinaabe Nation and is enrolled in the Bad River Tribe. Based in Portland, Oregon, his multidisciplinary practice spans sculpture, fashion, video, and installation. He is the co-founder of the artist collective Dosshaus (active 2011–2019). His work bridges sculpture, couture, and reclamation, creating pieces that are equal parts resistance and ceremony.

Nonamey’s practice is rooted in anti-colonial aesthetics and explores the survival of trans and Native bodies through beauty, memory, and storytelling. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, with notable presentations including the Lucca Biennale, Native Fashion Week, CONTEXT Miami, CONTEXT New York, The Other Art Fair, and the LA Art Show. In May 2025, he debuted his first fashion collection, Threaded Lineage, at Native Fashion Week.
