Alkyone is a singer-songwriter from the mountains of northern Greece whose music blends indie-pop, cinematic textures, and folk influences. Raised on traditional songs and classically trained in piano, she later embraced songwriting as her own path, weaving folklore into an ethereal yet grounded sound.

She has collaborated with Thanasis Papakonstantinou, Alkinoos Ioannidis, Maria Farantouri, and George Dalaras, and has composed music for Greek national television. In 2023, she was featured on La Blogothèque, performing “Xenitemena mou poulia” and “Nanourisma,” filmed by Vincent Moon.

Her critically acclaimed debut album Exit Sign was released in May 2023, with a second studio album expected in early spring 2026. Alkyone has performed at Onassis Foundations - Onassis Stegi, Princeton University and will play SXSW in March 2026.

Presented by the Hellenic Museum.
