Teen Arts Council events are free with general admission, which is always free for residents of Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties.

The Teen Arts Council is excited to invite you to the 2026 Annual Teen Summit! This year, teens will explore the DIA's African and African American art collections, with a chance to walk through the newly reinstalled Reimagining African American Art exhibition. The day will include your choice of sessions, ranging from artmaking to scavenger hunts to educational talks. Bring a friend or make new ones at this event!
Free breakfast and lunch provided! Capacity is limited.
Note: This event is for teens, ages 13-19. Please bring a student ID or another type of photo ID that shows your age.
