Watermark, center of sheet, obscured by the printing of the image, requires analysis Stamped, in brown, lower left, verso: RBP in a circle, indicating that it was printed at the direction of Whistler's executor, his sister-in-law, Rosalind Birnie Philip (1873-1958) after Whistler's death. (Lugt 405)
