Inscribed, in blue, within the foot-ring: daniello sogniando | di veder tuti lipechati | mora- tali et era in grande | afanno vine langiolo | dalcielo esi loresvegio | 1545 [translation: Daniel dreaming of seeing all the mortal sins and he was in great anxiety. The angel came from heaven and he woke up.]
