Create a pencil drawing to take home while taking a closer look at the collection. For this special drawing experience join us on the lawn as highlight the architecture and nature of our museum grounds, as well as our mammoth Alexander Calder sculpture. (In case of inclement weather, Drawing in the Galleries will take place in the Great Hall)
No experience is necessary. All supplies provided. For ages 6 - Adult (children ages 12 and younger should be accompanied by an adult). Capacity is limited.
Drawing in the Galleries
Slow down and take a closer look. Drawing in the Galleries invites visitors of all skill levels to pick up a pencil and draw directly from the art on view. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just curious, this self-guided experience encourages observation, creativity, and quiet reflection among the museum’s masterworks. Materials are provided—just bring your curiosity.
