Internationally recognized performance artist Marina Abramović will present the lecture The History of Long Durational Works of Art. Abramović will detail the art of performance through different visual materials, explain the relation of performance to other art mediums, and discuss the founding of the Marina Abramović Institute.

MAI creates public and participatory experiences, and is home to The Abramović Method, a continuous project joining people in communal experience to connect with oneself and with each other.
