Detroit trio Infinite River plays a sprawling, peaceful form of instrumental psychedelia that incorporates layers of soothing, gauzy guitar textures as well as harmonium and tanpura drones. The group's members are veterans of the Michigan music scene, having played in bands such as His Name Is Alive, Slumber Party, Detroit Cobras, and many others. The musicians released an album with folk troubadour Ethan Daniel Davidson as Seedsmen to the World before releasing their debut LP as Infinite River, Prequel, in 2023.

Concert of Colors is metro Detroit’s free annual global music festival, an upbeat event celebrating diverse World music traditions-including the indigenous music of the Motor City. The festival also hosts the Forum on Community, Culture and Race, a series of conversations with artists, cultural and community leaders examining the role of the arts in overcoming social barriers.
