The film Edo Avant-Garde shows the role of Edo era (1603–1868) Japanese artists  in setting the stage for the “modern art” movement in the West. Join us for a special educators-only viewing in our Lecture Hall. Explore related classroom resources, and learn about Edo-era objects in the DIA’s collection.
