Details
This base of a lampstand demonstrates the extraordinary delicacy and power of Seljuk metalwork. It is decorated with Kufic inscriptions bestowing blessings on the owner. Openwork designs of linked roundels and intertwined palmette scrolls adorn the surfaces.
