DIA announces Oakland County locations for 2023 Inside|Out activation High quality reproductions of the DIA collections will be displayed in six Oakland County communities

DETROIT- (May 4, 2023) The Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) recently announced the Oakland County communities that will participate in the 2023 Inside|Out program. Each community will house high-quality reproductions of art featured in the museum's collection.
Inside|Out brings high-quality reproductions of the DIA’s collection to outdoor venues throughout metro Detroit to increase engagement between the museum and its diverse audiences in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties.
"I am thrilled to announce the Oakland County communities that will be part of the 2023 Inside|Out program,” said Julie McFarland, the DIA’s Executive Director of Public Affairs and Engagement. “This program allows the DIA to bring art into the community and deepen our engagement with tri-county residents. We are excited to share the museum's treasures with a wider audience and inspire conversations about art and culture in these neighborhoods.”
There are six participating communities throughout Oakland County, including:
- White Lake
- Commerce Township
- Clawson
- Bloomfield Hills/Township
- Pleasant Ridge
- Oakland Community College
