Detroit Institute of Arts Director Salvador Salort-Pons to give a “Director’s Cut” talk at Rochester’s Older Persons Commission August 8 as part of its “Terrific Tuesday” event

WHAT:     As part of his continuing focus on community engagement, Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) Director Salvador Salort-Pons will give an informal talk about his background, highlights since becoming director in Oct. 2015, and a look at what's ahead for the museum. Following his talk, he will take questions from the audience.

WHERE:     Older Persons Commission (OPC), 650 Letica Dr., Rochester, MI

WHEN:     Tuesday, Aug. 8. Salort-Pons’ talk is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Other OPC events begin at 4:30 with a light dinner followed by a choice of activities

COST:     The venue is ticketing the event at $9 for members and $11 for nonmembers, and a ticket is required for any segment of the evening. For tickets and information call 248-659-1029.
