Detroit Institute of Arts Director Salvador Salort-Pons engages the community with “Director’s Cut” talk at Norwest Gallery

WHAT: Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) Director Salvador Salort-Pons will give an overview of the DIA’s history and collections, including some of his favorite works of art, and talk about his vision for the museum and the programs it offers both inside and outside the DIA. Following the talk, the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions and give feedback about the DIA.

WHEN: Wednesday, July 18, 6-8 p.m.

WHERE: Norwest Gallery, 19556 Grand River Ave., Detroit

WHY: As part of the DIA's community engagement efforts, Salort-Pons wants people in the metro Detroit area to get to know him both personally and professionally, and to hear what they have to say in order to help the DIA build understanding and community connections.
