European Paintings Council members will come together for a review of 2025–2026, followed by a special enrichment delivered by Michael Swicklik, former Senior Paintings Conservator, National Gallery of Art, Washington DC, as he provides some behind the scenes wisdom in painting conservation to address the most important of questions: “How do you know if a painting is too far gone?”

Create a pencil drawing to take home while taking a closer look at the collection. No experience is necessary. All supplies provided. For ages 6 and up (children ages 12 and younger should be accompanied by an adult).

Kicking off our summer Drop-In Workshop series, visit the Art Making studio to create something uniquely personal using a variety of fun and interesting materials in this open-ended drop-in workshop.  For all of July and August the DIA will offer Drop-In Workshops Wednesday through Sunday.
