Thank you for your patience and understanding as we operate the museum differently to ensure a safe environment for our visitors and staff.
Each of us plays a role in a safe museum visit, with social distancing and additional health and safety precautions in place. The CDC recommends wearing a mask in public indoor areas where the COVID-19 Community Level is high, regardless of vaccination status. Please check the CDC website for more information to help you plan your visit.
We prepared for our operations during the pandemic in partnership with NSF International. This was a thorough process, one that considered many variables including state and city guidelines, close coordination with city government and cultural center institutions, and ongoing discussions with our own staff and museum peers around the world.
