Schedule a Virtual Meaning through Art-Making Program (Grades 3 - 5)
A virtual version of our Meaning Through Art Making field trip, developed to work with students in real-time. The 1.5-hour single session includes a learner-centered peer-based discussion of art in the DIA online collection, followed by brainstorming and hands-on artmaking, with opportunities for questions and sharing throughout.
DIA Studio Staff will guide students through a collage-based project using materials from around the classroom, including tagboard, scissors, glue, and a variety of scrap papers
One class per reservation, (up to 30 students). Available Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Free for schools from Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. All other schools are charged a fee of $5 per person (student and adult).
