Membership
Benefits
As a member of the Detroit Institute of Arts, you will be helping
to support one of the world's most outstanding art museums; the
DIA ranks sixth in the nation and its fine arts collections are
among the most comprehensive in the country. Private individual
contributions form a large portion of the museum's annual budget
and are critical to the DIA's ongoing excellence.
Member's dues are used to support educational programs, special
exhibitions, art publications which capture worldwide attention,
conservation of valuable collections, crucial building improvements
and many of the daily expenses involved with operating the museum.
Auxiliary groups are special-interest
groups for DIA members which further help support the DIA. Learn
about the various groups, their activities and events and how to
join.
